Ndutu is the resting area for thousands of wildebeest and zebra’s during the wet season from December up to May. Every year these animals make a long journey though the Serengeti and Masai Mara, searching for fresh grass and water. This world event also known as the Migration, is the reason for many visitors to explore this part of the world.
From June through November, the plains are dry and the great herds are gone. This is the time when the resident animals converge around Ndutu's waterholes and marshes - elephants, giraffes, impalas, every kind of cat and a profusion of birds. Wet season or dry, there's lots to see, and you'll never feel just one of a herd.
