Nyumba Ya Mungu Lodge

Welcome to Nyumba ya mungu a scenic lost surrounding accompanied with activities that will for sure remind you of Tanzania.”Nyumba ya mungu” meaning “House of god” is a name derived from a historic house-shaped stone that the local villagers used to swear to it since they believed their god lived there.

As a result of the construction of a dam the stone now lies covered under water. In these waters now is where the locals do fishing as their major economic activity, and also provides a great spot for other activities like water sports, canoe riding and also fishing for tourists.

At the site we also have a lodge and camping facilities for guests who want to spend a night at this awesome environment.
