The Lodge is situated at an altitude of 1900 meters and from there you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the African plains and mountains. Even the Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain can be seen during clear weather.

MamboViewPoint is situated on the Northern edge of the Usmabara Mountains, two hours driving from Lushoto. The road is troughout the year good accessible except for short periods with heavy rains. The UsambaraMountains is a place with a unique biodiversity.

Getting there

Direct busses from Dar es Salaam, Arusha and Tanga to Mtae / Mambo .
By car from Mombo at the highway from Dar es Salaam turn in the direction of Lushoto and follow the sighnboards.
From arusha there is a shortcut for 4x4 cars

From MamboViewPoint you can make several walks or mountain bike tours through the National forest, along mountain footpath's with breathtaking views. Also cultural tours, historical sites and game drive is possible.
